Hello Sepians! This week I am finally participating again after a long break. This week's theme is generally interpreted as "Father's Day", my choice of picture is more concrete: "A man and a horse". I guess this picture is the only one in the family archive containing a horse - and I love it! It is my granddad Michael Alexeevich Maximov, whom I missed to meet in person by a decade :(( Unfortunetely I do not have a lot to tell about this picture - I guess it was taken in 50s. Dad told me that it was a trip to Romania. My granddad, as well as nan, his wife, was a scientist and studied oriental countries (specialised in India).
It is a lovely photo. There seems to be an affinity between them so I wouldn't think it was taken on a trip away?
